Substance Abuse / Mental Health Counselor

Creative Counseling Services is looking for the next member of our team! We are looking for a full-time Substance Abuse / Mental Health Counselor. We are located in Northern Colorado and have offices in Fort Collins, Greeley, and Loveland. WE OFFER THE OPTION OF WORKING REMOTELY, and the option of a 4 day work week.

We are an established outpatient substance abuse and mental health counseling agency that has provided court mandated individual and group therapy services to Northern Colorado since 1981. We work closely with referral sources in the criminal justice system, including probation, parole, and the courts. We are a mid-size company that offers the benefit of not getting lost in a larger company, or being only one of a few in a smaller company. Our team is very close and supportive. We work well together and are looking for a Counselor that will work well in a team atmosphere.

WE ARE A CHSC APPROVED SITE, WHICH MEANS YOU WOULD BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR A GRANT OF UP TO $60,000 FOR STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENT.

Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills and advanced de-escalation skills. Experience providing both individual and group counseling is preferred.

Master’s degree is required, licensure is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,500.00 – $4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Our agency follows the mask mandate and frequent cleaning of surfaces. Vaccination is recommended, but not required by employees. Group sessions are conducted primarily via telehealth at this time.
